About Me

I grew up in Northern California and picked up my first camera when I was just eight years old—a Minolta Freedom Explorer. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a simple, blue point-and-shoot, probably from Target, gifted by my grandma. My younger brother got a purple one.

At 15, I upgraded to my first SLR, a Nikon FM-10 with a 28mm lens, for a high school photo class. From that moment on, my camera became an extension of me. It was always with me—at every party, every outdoor adventure, capturing the world as I saw it.

Photography felt like the natural path, leading me to earn a B.A. from Brooks Institute of Photography. Since 2005, I’ve been working in portrait and event photography, telling people’s stories through my lens.

In 2018, I moved to NYC and spent five and a half years in the commercial photography world. Now, I’m based in San Francisco, traveling worldwide for photography commissions, always chasing the next great shot.
